First, you will head towards the town of Arona and the highest town in Spain, Vilaflor. Here you will have time for a short break and stroll through the quiet town where you can enjoy a delicious local coffee.
Afterwards you will continue your trip through the huge pine forest and reach the biggest and oldest pine tree, “El Pino Gordo”, to take some pictures.

Later we will reach the famous area of the park with a spectacular landscape of different lava materials and the famous Roques de Garcia. Here we will have time to explore the landscape and discover the incredible area. Also, up there is a small hotel, the Parador de Cañadas del Teide, a cafeteria and a nice souvenir store.

Later, we will also pass the ancient peak of Teide “El Pico Viejo” with its huge lava field of more than 5 km². Quite recent, just over 200 years old.
Then we will continue to a five hundred year old lava flow of the volcano “Boca Cangrejo”, with the great view to the neighboring island of La Gomera.
Afterwards, we will go a little further into the Teide National Park and reach a place where we will have the opportunity to take a short walk to the crater of the Samara volcano.
On the way back south, we will stop at a fantastic viewpoint of several volcanoes that also shows a strange volcanic landscape.
